The try
This is a fit I wore on one of the first chillier days of the year. It was the reason I reshuffled my closet to bring out my jackets, flannels, button-ups and sweaters for the year. My goal was to have a pop of fall color with these brown jeans.
No compliments searched for when designing this. I was going for comfort, like I'm not trying too hard. I just thought the color scheme was good. I like a tan / brown and dark green combo.
stolen from my wife ↓The hoodie is an oversized forest green zip-up from Brandy Melville. I stole it from my wife. Surprised it fit, since we are technically like 4 sizes of a difference.
The pieces
- Forest green zip hoodie, oversized, Brandy Melville. Free (stolen from my wife)
- White cropped thermal long sleeve, Cotton On. A gift
- Skims cotton brief boxers. Can't remember the price
- Abercrombie relaxed jeans, brown. About $50
- White Vans. About $30
What I liked / what I didn't
liked ✓
- It was comfortable
- Just enough white and color pop for a nice casual fit
didn't ✗
- I didn't accessorize it enough. I think some gold rings (apart from the wedding ring, of course) or maybe some shades could have done the trick.
Bottom line
I think this is a great errand run outfit, like when you're forced to go to Target.
would repeat ✓I would probably repeat this fit.
