The try
November 1 is really when I start bringing out the wool sweaters and knitwear. This was the first-of-November fit.
$20 shipped ✓The sweater is Fila, and it's one of my favorite thrifts of all time. I think I paid about $20 for it, shipping included, which feels like a great use of thrifting. And by thrift, I mean Depop.
I love how this fit came together. I perhaps should have rolled the sweater for the style, but it also looks like a nice layer.
my underlayer hack ↓Here's something I do whenever I know I'm going to wear a baggier sweater. I usually wear an older shirt underneath, to give it a second life and so I don't fall into the habit of just buying more plain white tees. Over the years they've come from sports or school. The way I see it, it doesn't really matter what you're wearing underneath, so I'd rather buy outer clothes than underlayers.
The pieces

What I liked / what I didn't

- The older-shirt underlayer hack gives old shirts a second life

Bottom line
